Ukraine’s WBC World Super-Lightweight Champion Viktor Postol has said the physical advantages he holds over WBO King Terence Crawford will be the difference on Saturday night.
Speaking with Top Rank Boxing’s Crystina Poncher, the 5ft 11in, 28-0 star spoke about the 3-inch advantage he holds in both height and reach over Omaha’s Crawford.
“I can tell you one thing for sure, that with every camp I’m getting better and better and learning new things.
“You’re absolutely right, my longer reach, my height and the jab are the main advantages that I have. Our goal is to use them to win this fight.”
Postol, whose wife recently gave birth to twins, dedicated his huge unification showdown to his new born children.
“It only raises the motivation a lot higher. I need to bring those two belts for them now, they’re waiting,” said the Iceman Postol.
“[To beat Crawford] would be my second dream come true and my second big win [after having twins]. I’d be very, very happy and this would be a good thing that I will do for my country. I will make my country of Ukraine very proud of me, and known all over the world.”
