*Note: WBC title on the line for Canelo Alvarez only, after Cotto allegedly failed to pay a WBC sanctioning fee.

Happy birthday to Puerto Rican legend Miguel Cotto, who turns 35 today!

A BoxNation favourite, Cotto is Puerto Rico’s only ever four-weight world champion after winning titles at light-welterweight up to the WBC World Middleweight crown he currently possesses and defends against Canelo Alvarez on November 21, live on BoxNation.

The 5ft 7in fighter is known for his classically Latino aggressive style and tireless work rate, and was recently said to be in the best shape of his career as he prepares under the tutelage of Freddie Roach at the Wild Card gym in Hollywood.

Memorable moments for Cotto that featured on BoxNation include him taking revenge over Antonio Margarito in December 2011, the first major international showdown to air live on BoxNation, and the Cinco de Mayo 2012 blockbuster where Cotto arguably gave Floyd Mayweather the toughest test of his career.

BoxNation viewers are in for another treat on November 21 when Cotto looks to defend his WBC World Middleweight title against the 44-1-1 box office superstar Canelo Alvarez in what's certain to be one of the fights of the year.

To celebrate Cotto’s 35 years, we re-live his breathtaking win over Antonio Margarito in their 2011 rematch.
