Billy Joe Saunders is clearly a wanted man. Ahead of his maiden World Title defence against Max Bursak on April 30 at the Copper Box Arena in London, the unbeaten star has been called out on more than one occasion over the weekend.
Chris Eubank Jr, who won the British Middleweight crown, reiterated his desire to lock horns with the slick southpaw once more.
“If we meet again down the line, no problem – I’ll box his ears off!” revealed Saunders.
Speaking to iFL TV’s James Helder ringside from Saturday night’s show in Wembley, the WBO World Middleweight Champion outlined his own ambitions: “Golovkin in July, that’s what I want. The Emirates or what I would love… Fury v Klitschko, me v Golovkin at Wembley Stadium!”
The WBA ‘regular’ World Middleweight Champion Daniel Jacobs used his Twitter account to express his interest in fighting Saunders next:
There's been a lot a talk about my next .. wanna make it clear, I'll fight anyone they put in front of me . But I want B.J !— Daniel Jacobs (@DanielJacobsTKO) March 28, 2016
First things first, Saunders has to beat Max Bursak in just over a months’ time to set up these potential, mouth-watering Middleweight matchups.
