Middleweight rivals Billy Joe Saunders and Willie Monroe Jr were embroiled in another Twitter spat over the weekend.
On September 16th, Saunders defends his WBO World Title at the Copper Box Arena and his American opponent seems to be growing in confidence by the day.
"Some days I'm Jesus some days I'm Peter but every day I'm whooping your ass," Monroe Jr tweeted referring to the Champion.
In response, Saunders brought up Monroe Jr's sixth round stoppage loss to Gennady Golovkin in May 2015 where, after three knockdowns, he told the ref he had had enough.
"But most days you are a quitter," he wrote, adding: "I'm done. Remember you know how to find the exit and you have no shame. Millions watching, you gave up in your heart."
"Let's not forget you never even made it to the table to sign the contract to fight GGG," fired Monroe, who then described Andy Lee - the man Saunders beat to become World Champion - as a "senior citizen".
With just over a month to go until fight night, there looks set to be more verbals exchanged before they meet in the ring.
