Errol Spence Jr’s trainer Derrick James has warned his Welterweight rivals that the 20-0 rising star is out to unify the division.

‘The Truth’ locks horns with Leonard Bundu this Sunday knowing a victory would secure a shot at the IBF crown.

“He’s done everything he needs to do. He’s beaten everyone they have put in front of him. People have excuses, those guys have to man up!” revealed James.

In a talent rich division featuring the likes of Keith Thurman, Danny Garcia, Kell Brook and the returning Manny Pacquiao, there’s some lucrative Championship fights down the line for the 26 year old southpaw.

“You’ll see more of his skills in this fight. He’s very focused. When you work as hard as he works you can’t dwell on victory, you have to do better next time. He wants to unify the belts!”

Experienced Italian Bundu is in the opposite corner for the London 2012 Olympian’s latest bout, with James insisting it could be a trickier fight than most are predicting.

“We want a great performance but Leonard Bundu is tough, very strong. Even though he’s older, it doesn’t matter you’ve seen people like Klitschko perform at the highest level. He’s coming in to try and get a World Title shot.”
