We’re half way through the four Middleweight Title fights shown in late 2015 on BoxNation.

The first of which saw Gennady Golovkin continue his explosive form to dismantle David Lemieux back in October to unify the WBA Super and IBF World Titles in front of New York’s Madison Square Garden’s knowledgeable crowd.

Last Saturday Canelo Alvarez picked up the WBC version of the World Title, taking a wide points decision against Miguel Cotto at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Canelo was a worthy winner but the peculiar judges’ cards have somewhat put a small dent on the fantastic fight.

That brings us into the future starting with the WBA regular Title on the line in the bout dubbed ‘The Battle for Brooklyn’ where miracle man Daniel Jacobs defends his belt against fellow New Yorker Peter Quillin live on BoxNation, Saturday 5 December.

Quillin was last seen on BoxNation screens earning a hard fought draw with WBO World champion Andy Lee, which all adds to the intriguing 160 pound division.

Speaking of which, the big one is just over three weeks away. Lee makes the first defence of his Title after Quillin failed to make weight in their April fight, against mandatory challenger Billy Joe Saunders.

Lee v Saunders tops the big Manchester show on Saturday 19 December with a stellar undercard featuring another World Title clash between Liam Smith and Jimmy Kelly plus some of the best talents in the UK.
