Conor McGregor was ringside on Saturday night to watch a night of Championship boxing in his hometown of Dublin.

When quizzed about swapping The Octagon for a boxing ring, McGregor was open to the idea further down the line.

“I love the sport of boxing, I love stand up fighting. I am a mover. I would certainly step inside the ring.”

‘The Notorious’ takes on Jose Aldo at UFC 194 in Las Vegas in a UFC Featherweight Championship unification bout.

“I don’t care about him. It’s a blank face with a new body. If he shows up, he will be put away inside four minutes of the first round,” revealed the 27 year old.

McGregor was less than convinced that Aldo will show on December 12”I’m still not 100% sure if he will make the walk, I look into his eyes and he’s broken. We’ll see.”

Having picked up the ‘Performance of the Night’ award in four bouts running, the bookies favour the red hot McGregor.

Good news for the Irish fight fans, there’s a strong possibility UFC will return to Dublin in 2016.

“It’s in talks. We’re talking about Croke Park or the Aviva. It will be big!”
