Moments after it was announced that Ohara Davies had signed with Frank Warren, Jack Catterall 'welcomed' his fellow Super-Lightweight into the growing stable.

"Would love to smack the dog sh*t out of you," tweeted the Chorley southpaw, who could be a potential opponent for Davies this year.

Davies is a former English Lightweight Champion and has won 16 of his 17 fights. The Londoner will make his BoxNation debut on April 14th at The O2.

"I’ve had a hard few months and I needed a fresh start, I’m in the best place for that now. I’m looking forward to getting back to what I do best," said the 25-year-old.

Catterall with title

Catterall is the British Champion at 140lbs after taking the belt from Tyrone Nurse in October, and has set his sights on Terry Flanagan who is aiming to win the WBO crown against Maurice Hooker.

Another new stablemate and possible foe is Josh Leather, who holds the IBF European belt.

Promoter Warren believes their are some exciting match-ups to be made: "In our stable alone we have the likes of Terry Flanagan, Jack Catterall, Josh Leather and Jeff Saunders. There’s a lot of good fights to be made in the next year or so."
