Former IBF World Super-Flyweight Champion Zolani Tete will soon be gracing BoxNation viewers once more with his talent.

The South African explosive puncher has signed a long term, multi fight contract with Frank Warren Promotions.

Fans will remember Tete's victory over Paul Butler earlier this year in March to retain his World Title.

Tete picked up the vacant WBO Africa Super-Flyweight title last Friday night with a landslide points victory over Jether Oliva.

"My ambition is to win another world title at Super-Flyweight and I will then move up to Bantamweight and do the same there, and I could even move on to Super-Bantamweight, with Mr. Warren’s guidance my opportunities are endless and I look forward to a great 2016 with him," revealed the 27 year old.

Promoter Frank Warren has promoted many of the great African fighters including world champions Baby Jake Matlala, Harry Simon, Sugar Boy Malinga and the legendary Azumah Nelson, and is delighted to now be promoting Tete.

"There are big plans for him next year, he could still fight at super-flyweight and there are also exciting options for him at bantamweight, he’ll soon be fighting for world titles," said the excited promoter.

Zolani's first fight under Queensberry Promotions will be confirmed soon.
